PERSONAL INJURY
Stratejic identified a former Automotive Crashworthiness Team member of the defendant Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and coordinated a relationship between them and our law client. The Ex-employee joined the case as a Consulting Expert and quickly became known by the plaintiff's co-counsel as "The Lynchpin." She revealed a number of unfavorable crash test results which were hidden by the OEM. Because of her familiarity with the company’s nomenclature, she was able to assist our client as they crafted their interrogatories to the Defendant, quickly facilitating settlement.
PRODUCT LIABILITY
Our plaintiff fell from a stepladder when it slipped out from under him. This stepladder was made using inadequate materials in the footing mechanism. Stratejic was able to prove that there were other similar incidents (OSI's) by meticulously combing through all the data. We separated out five such incidents that our client classified as identical events. The plaintiff's counsel was able to facilitate a settlement by using these OSI's to prove foreseeability on the part of the Defendant manufacturer.
CLASS ACTION
Stratejic was hired to intervene in a Class Action involving a set of handguns with a propensity to misfire. Our research identified a group of weapon owners willing to act as witnesses. These owners offered their own relevant weapons as exemplars in the case, facilitating a $239 million settlement.
